Tuesday , February 13, 2018 - 10:00 PM

November 4, 1948 ~ February 4, 2018

Our beloved father, husband, brother, and dear friend unexpectedly returned to his heavenly father on February 4, 2018. Andy was born November 4, 1948, to Beverly Ruth Phelps-Andrews and Orville Earl Andrews in Long Beach, California, later they moved to Ogden, Utah, where he attended Ogden High School graduating from there in 1966.

Andy was married to Georgia Miera and with her, he had two beautiful children, Lori and Michael Scott, both whom he loved deeply.

Andy was employed by the Jerry Seiner family in the parts dept. for 25 years. On February 23, 1997, Andy married Jeneal Tuft.

Bowling was a great passion in his life, as well as tying flies and then trying them out while floating on the river with his buddies. Andy loved to camp whether it was in a trailer or roughing it in a tent. Often on a whim, he'd tell everyone to pack a bag "let's go". Amongst some of his passions he loved to get away to do his gardening, teasing the grandchildren, and his fur babies. No one will ever forget his sarcastic sense of humor with an infectious laugh and great taste of the various genres of music.

Andy was a devout member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and was serving as secretary for the Elders Quorum at the time of his passing.

Andy is proceeded in death by his parents, grandparent(s), and two grandchildren. He is survived by his wife, Jeneal Andrews; daughter, Lori Davies (Mike); son, Michael Andrews (Erika); sister, Vicki Dowdy (Rick); step-children: Wes, Aaron (Lisa), Justin (Sabrina), Tamara (Lee), and Michelle. He has 19 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren, all of us are going to miss him dearly.

A viewing was held at the Lakeridge 1st Ward on Friday, February 9, 2018, from 6 to 8 p.m., and Saturday, February 10, 2018, at 10 a.m. Funeral services began at 11 a.m.

Dedication was at Redwood Memorial, at 6500 South Redwood Road.
